I almost bought 2 but I figure by the time I fill up this one there will be USB 4.0.

I just bought one. $107 with CA tax but still a great deal for a 3TB USB 3.0. I've seen 2TB drives and 3TB USB 2.0 drives around this price but never a 3TB USB 3.0 drive.

The usb 2.0 plug on the back of this hard drive goes bad. This piece is also what encrypts your data. The only way I was able to recover my data was to go buy another one and take them both apart and swap the part. My friend has had this happen on 2 of his. I still have mine and is currently still working with the new piece installed. I also have the firewire version and have had no issues with it to date.
