It's been forever since I've posted, but this Poughkeepsie Wedding is worth it.

In the midst of my craziest season ever, so with that and the baby, I've just been swamped. Still, just wanted to share this awesome Poughkeepsie wedding at Locust Grove in NY. Definitely the most fun I've had shooting a wedding this year so far.. Below are some random shots. As always, CC, welcome and appreciated.

nice, did you use off-camera flash for the shots on the dance floor? If so, speedlight or studio strobe? I'm shooting my first wedding soon and you gave me the idea to simply plug in my 300w/s studio strobe and point it up to the ceiling for a very nice soft bounce light for the inside area and trigger it wirelessly...

Yea, I just had two speedlights on opposite sides of the dance floor, and alternated shooting directly onto the dance floor for backlight, and straight up. Depending on the venue environment, pointing up at 1 side of the room is a safe bet. With Locust Grove, the roof was angled toward the middle of the dance floor, and ceilings weren't super-high or colored, so it was pretty easy.

1. Very cool
2. Very nice
3. Doesn't work for me.
4. The head spoils it a bit for me.
5. Really nice but it looks like a bit of messy photoshop above and right of grooms head?
6. Really nice, would prefer grooms back to be black though.
7. Fun
8. Would crop it a bit tighter.

Thanks, yes, fun indeed! And for #5, it was a brenizer method, so that's probably a result of the super-shallow DoF. Thanks for the opinions, jon!
