bringing lighting outdoors

So, I don't have a flash, and I may get one eventually but I'm wondering.

Can I bring my lighting rig I made for indoors, outdoors?


Someone wanted to do a shoot in a parking garage and I was gonna try to get some sort of AC adapter for my car to hook up the lighting.

I would maybe need like 500w max.

Anyone ever done this?

Please use normal formatting, its the polite thing to do. Light doesnt know indoors from outdoors so the answer is yes. But a qualified yes. You dont say what your lights are and what you are going to shoot. But its probably time to start considering flash options as continuous lights are hell on batteries.
