I have been a long time fan of Quantum flash heads having a few of the T5Dr and the Trio. I hope that this purchase doesn't change too much. ProMarkBrands markets a number of lighting equipment such as Norman, Photogenic, Speedotron, Lindahl plus more. Jpg of the press release as follows:

THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

Long Island, NY is taking over the world of photography:

Long Island companies:

Canon USA - Melville, LI, NY
Sigma USA - Ronkonkama, LI, NY
Tamron USA - Commack, LI, NY
Quantum Instruments - Hauppauge, LI, NY

(for those of you who aren't familiar with Long Island, you can drive to each one of these companies' headquarters in succession in about 30 minutes as they are so close to each other)

...and now the addition of ProMarkBrands and all of the fine products made by its subsidiaries.

If LI was ever blown of the map, you'd probably have to switch over to Nikon, and good luck getting a third-party lens!
