This is an image taken last week at lake twenty two in the foothills of the North Cascades. I have been going on weekly (and sometimes more often) hikes with a local landscape photographer I met on Facebook.

I'm really enjoying getting back into landscape photography and am just about out the door for a weekend on Mt. Rainier. The weather forecast is decent over the next couple of days and its a new moon weekend, so hoping to get some great images.

Have a great weekend and enjoy.

I really like these lake reflection shots. Nice colors and composition. It looks like a really extreme wide angle lens, or funny shaped clouds.

Good eye Jon.

After arriving at the lake I realized that I had left my polarizer at home. I decided that it would be a good time to try out my Samyang 14mm for some daytime images since it can't accept a polarizer.

The clouds were a funny shape too, but deffinately were accentuated by the lens.

Great reflections on the lake. Looks like the whole area has loads of potential.

That cloud really caps it. Nice.
