These are no exception but occasionally, I get the opportunity to bring in a splash of colour. These shots were taken on our potentilla bush which, although hasn't really flowered properly yet is still giving off wonderful rich greens, pinks and reds from the leaf tips and buds. Our garden is North facing and the sun had dipped down below our fence line to the West so although subdued, there was still some lovely light coming over. Combined with a touch of flash it made for such a colourful image Ian Clark
