Hi all, Im finally back home from a two week trip to Russia, I had a good time shooting bugs, there are hundreds of them all over the forest, however I had a few problems with "komare" very large and aggressive russian mosquitoes. it was making it almost impossible to shot until I got one of those masks used for bees and latex gloves lol any ways many shots are not great but most are new insects for me. these are the first of many I will be posting these days

not sure on ID

Fantastic images Al. The world has some amazing bugs and we're so lucky to have people all over the world here to photograph and share them with such superb images.

In the second "Beetle with passenger" shot (#5), there's also a bonus spider just to the left :)
