iPad holder

I have been using Cam Ranger with my 7D, love it so far. Problem is with a holder for the iPad. Bought a Joy Factory Tournez, the clamp that fastens to the tripod is very nice, very adjustable. Advertised as working with the smart cover, not true? was the main reason I went with this model as it is advertised as working with the smart cover, do NOT want to have to remove the cover for use with the mount. Email to Joy Factory so far unanswered, sent an email to B&H where I purchased it to see if they will respond. Anyone using a holder for an iPad that works WITH the smart cover on the iPad? would like to find one that has a standard tripod mount?

The Makayama Movie Mount says it works with the smart cover. The mount includes a wide angle lens, but more importantly for you is that it allows you to attach your iPad to a tripod.

BTW, I recently learned that you can use your Apple headphones as a remote switch to work the iPad camera. When plugged in, the inline controller will activate the shutter in the Camera app.
