Meadowlark and Hooded Merganser.

Two days ago I drove 139 miles and came back with just one OK shot. The next morning I drive 1 mile from home and find this cute little ducky. I might as well save my gas money and stick closer to home.

I wish I has a dollar for every time that has happened to me ;) Well done on both, especially like the Meadowlark though, so it WAS worth the drive :)

love the meadow lark- when I was a kid growing up in south Fl. these were all over- have to search to see them now due to lost habitat
