Once in a while everything just comes together in a natural way. Woke up this morning (Jan.22)to a heavy fog patch, and after the beautiful snowfall we had yesterday I knew the opportunities would be plentiful. Well, once I got to the forest located behind my house the sun started to poke through the fog and emitted the most wonderful golden light that I can remember. I felt like if I were in the middle of a movie set where stuff like this never happens...at least not to me! Try to imagine watching this as some nearby woodpeckers are gently tapping on trees and a few chickadees are cheerfully chirping away. Just magic!
Both taken with the "nifty fifty".

Oh wow! The elements may have come together, but you certainly took advantage of it. Beautiful!

These are beautiful. Talk about being in the right place at the right time.
