This one took first place at the recent Cypress Island Photo Contest at Lake Martin, LA. It was sponsored by the Nature Conservancy.

Congrats, Tony, I see why you took first! The properly exposed white bird, great pose, dark surroundings all make it a great shot.

Tony, what time of the year was this taken? I see Snowies and Greats a lot in Texas during the winter when I'm there, but they're always "trim and neat".
