A couple of shots from this afternoon. It's starting to warm up here, 28C forecast for tomorrow, summer has arrived! :cool:

Meadow plant bug

Common blue damselfly, natural lighting. I turned the flash off because it looked good in the viewfinder at F2.8, nice silky smooth bg but once stopped down a bit (F8) the bg wasn't so hot! LOL

Wonderful shots. I'd say the BG on the Damsel shot is lovely and It's really nice to see the whole body in focus. Damsels being so long are quite difficult to get in focus if they're slightly off the focal plane.

Love the cat as well :)
