Never seen that before with any Woodies, the Cardinals and Sparrows were knocking the Cicadas down when we had about twenty of them. Great IF set, Well done!

Beautiful work Lee to capture predator and prey in the same frame.
It's amazing how agile woodpeckers can be on the wing and I certainly hope that after all that work she was rewarded.
