So many options and so many stuff just "made in china" by knockoff's. Whats a good cable to replace my alien bee cable that is short, maybe 12-18". Right now I have some velcro tying up all the extra slack on my stand but would work out so much better if I could shorten it up. Thanks for the input.

Check out this site:

If it isn't listed I believe he will make a custom cable to your specs. The owner is a member here so he might see your post.

Oops, dmward beat me to it.

pc sync is junk connector IMHO. And any cables look like crap once you used custom ones made by Robert (TMR). :)

PC connection isn't the best, that's for sure.

Just reread the original post and now I'm confused; sound like the OP want to connect something to his AB light. The ABs have 1/8 plugs if I remember correctly; wonder to what the PC end is going to be connected. Usually its a trigger, most of which take mini-jacks. The only one I can think of that requires PC is the YN-622c and for those the locking collar is a requirement in my view.

Alien bee B800 to RF-603C to be exact. I don't like having 15' of pc sync cable bunched up and velcro'd to my stand. Just trying to get a shorter cable is all

If they only have PC sync then I will just throw them and get something with mini phone connector. I just hate the PC sysnc connector. It is nothing but problems and I have used screw lock ones.

I forgot about the 603s. I have some. They are nice triggers. But Don't the AB800s have 1/8 plugs. Not sure if Flash Zebra has those. I do think that Yongnou has them for the 603s. I expect they are the same light weight cable as the ones I have for 602 and 603. I've never had a problem with them. I have a couple PC to PC with locking collars for when I need to have the 603s connected to the camera PC port.

Never had a problem.
