Indian Dancer

Took this photo of an Indian Dancer. The stage was so small that I could not separate the subject from the background. What do think of the photo?

Any reason in particular why it's tilted? This was all the rage among wedding photographers a few years ago. It looked dumb then. Not much has changed.

No reason other than trying different composition then straight.

do you have a pic with not such a tight crop on it? I feel like this picture is too close. I'm not a professional though, so take my comments with a grain of salt.. lol

Color seems a little off, maybe the lighting and your settings? I would think it would be a little more vibrant or warmer. Also agree on being a little tight

Maybe a bit underexposed - her hair is solid black with no detail.

Couple of things I would suggest. Get out a little further, I can't see what lens this was shot with, but I would make sure not to cut off just the elbow.
Second would be to try to get her with a picture of her eyes towards you instead of the ground. I think the subject looks good, but better timing of the shot could have made it great.

I actually like the tilted shot better. For me it adds some interest to a a simple snapshot. However, I think you may have missed focus on the eyes/face, or maybe it is motion blur.
