Beautiful, Palo Duro is on my short list of destinations for maybe a weekend trip some time down the road, hopefully sooner than later, but after the heat subsides a bit.

I think this is the first photo set of palo duro canyon I've seen without the lighthouse included.;)

I loved mountain biking there when I was in college. Would like to go back.

Thanks ! Heat wasn't too bad , but the Texas show friday night with fireworks was just awesome ! Had the meal to boot first . This is a place really good for hikers . Me and the wife just drove through and stopped at the major places but if hiking you can find lot's of hidden treasures . Trail biking would be awesome too !

Thanks ! Believe it or not i never found the lighthouse . Wish i had tho ! Trail biking would be awesome too !

I was born and raised on the edge of the Palo Duro. My family owned 8 sections of it.
