Jul 09, 2013 12:32 | #10 I think it's just because I don't often use flash and I tend to like to leave the image as close to the actual lighting as possible.... because that is how I saw it. I adjusted my camera a couple of months ago and rarely need to drop things down like I used to. I went and looked at your pics and they all seem spot on..... so I'm going to chalk it up as available lighting sometimes falls short.... and I'm weird about trying to get it as close to what I actually saw or going the opposite way and being just creative. Taken this evening ..... I'm pretty happy with it.... though I'm sure I can make it better. Was something I threw together so I could get some decent pics of these Dogbane Beetles before it started storming again. They were too pretty to pass up!  "Photography has no rules.
