I've been a C1 fan for sometime now and on another thread came across Breeze. Compared to C1 or Adobe bridge how does it rate? Easier to use? Reliable output?
I'm mainly looking for better sharpening from RAW to JPEG. Unlike WB and exposure, sharpening is one of those things that is painful for me. I'd like a solution that "Just works" and will make automated decisions about how much sharpening needs to be applied.
I can shoot P1 in the camera and the camera sharpening is great but I loose exposure bracketing and WB adjustment without RAW. So I'm not willing to loose RAW but really dislike the whole trial and error approach to sharpening. If I shot on a tripod and used MLU plus a remote for every shot I think a set of saved settings will work but we know its more fluid than that.
I have CSPRO for PS CS2 and it works OK but still needs lots of tweaks per image to get it right. USM cannon 300,0.3,0 works OK but only sometimes. I've paid for and played with focus magic but it just feels out of flow with PP and too makes poor decisions.
The trial I played with from Breeze seems to do well with the "high-medium-low" approach of sharpening. So know I'm a little gruf here but I'd love to hear from someone who's been down this road of disappointment.
What works and works well?
Thanks in advance
