I recently bought an Ixus 40 and decided to have a go at cropping some photos using the supplied software Zoombrowser EX version 5. The first time I did it, it worked perfectly, but subsequent attempts sometimes work okay on the first photo, but then on every other photo when I click to create the top left corner, the crop lines form a box up to the top left corner of the photo. As I move to create the crop that I want, the box just gets bigger up to the top left corner. When I release the cursor it all disappears. I have reloaded the software and it has made no difference. Is there a bug in zoombrowser version 5.0 ?

Any help would be great

Before deciding on a further course of action, upgrade to ZoomBrowser 5.5, which can be downloaded from the Canon web site.
