Here are just a few from a recent wedding I shot. This was the first wedding i've ever done. I have done a lot of engagement shoots etc, but this was my first full blown wedding. The clients have seen these pics and have LOVED them so that makes me happy! Let me know what you think.

The weather was NOT playing well! It was over cast and just blah all day. But anywho, here are just a few. I have many more and will add them as i get through editing them.

Shot with:
Canon 5dc
Tamron 24-70 F2.8
Canon 70-200 F2.8

Here are my couple of comments:

1) For the ring shot, I'd turn to a page that has "love" or "wedding" or something relevant. It looks like you just turned it to some random page and used the book to get the heart shadow.
2) On #3, the "star burst" that you added in post looks weird to me.
3) #4 and #5 seems a little underexposed.

Thanks for the CC, one the ring shot, it was actually at LOYALTY but the ring kind of covered it a bit. Love wasn't in a spot where it could be used, nor was Marriage :-/

I will keep an eye on the others and make some changes in PP, i appreciate it.

#3 - I love light starbursts(esp created in PS), but it's difficult to create a realistic one. This one is obvious that it's faked. I would maybe try to turn down the opacity some. I'm far from being a PS expert and probably can't do better, but just giving you my honest feedback.

Ya, i am still playing with it for sure. That is one they liked a lot. I personally am 'meh' about the PS work on it, it was something i've never done before in a picture like this. I will keep messing around with it.

How are you doing your B+W conversions ? Are you adjusting the luminosity of the various colors or just clicking 'greyscale' ? I ask, because the skin tones seem a little dark and flat--especially in the head of the groom in the last shot. The lower contrast of the conversion (however you did it) hurts that shot in my opinion because his head is blending into the wall in the background a little.

Love the star burst. Makes it look like their wedding is a blessing from above.

In the past, i was simply using LR4 or CS5, turning them to B&W using the filter and then adjusting the levels as i liked. However, more recently (after these pics posted) I have started using masks in photoshop to give me the level of B&W i like without clipping.
