I shot this while at a 4th of July party. I thought it told the story quit well.

Thoughts?

Fireworks shots are like sunsets: you see one, you've seen them all. This is more compelling because you got people in the shot. Nice job.

Hey, that's a really excellent shot. I think your timing was right on with your use of the waning bits of blue sky as your background, instead of the standard jet black that I see so often in fireworks shots.

Thanks for the comments I really like the out come it was just what I was looking for. The hardest part was trying to keep the people and the complete fire work explosion in the frame. I had to use my Sigma 8-16mm at 8mm in portrait configuration to pull it off. I was so busy composing the shots I think I missed most of the display, had a great time though.
