After sitting on the computer all day, looking at everyone else's beautiful pictures here, i decided to get off my butt and wash the car and get some new shots.
i missed an opportunity walking out of my dorm room, though - saw a hawk take a swipe at some jackrabbits out behind the dorm!!

now, i am very new to hobby level photography, and i have only had my 300D for about a month and a half now. i haven't even begun to learn all of it's capabilities, so most of my pics are of the "point & shoot"nature. with that being said, comments/criticism/hel​pful hints, etc. are MORE than welcomed! that's the main reason i joined this forum was to hopefully learn some things! so... without further adou...


i worked on this pic with Macromedia Fireworks (i prefer that to PS). tried to give an already blurry pic a night vision kinda feel...

either that is the look you are going for, or your white balance is off. either way, clear photos

will the white balance help with the pictures not looking so "brownish"? cause i had been wondering why my pics came out like that...:confused:

it would take away the yellow. I just shot eveything in RAW mode where you can change it after you get the picture on the computer.

Nice pictures...I kinda of like the brownish tint to it. Nice car too, even though I have a TA.

I like the shots.. esp. how the first one gives a feeling of motion with the effects you added. Like the car too, but I'd probably prefer Steve McQueen's ;)
