Hello All,

I'm getting ready to list my SX-1 for sale, so I took both my daughters' to Bellingrath Gardens today to get a few sample photos. FYI, I'm considering the SX-50 or SX-40 due to the expected better ISO performance in low light.

Anyhow, I just wanted to share an image with you as I was quite impressed, having not really used the camera that much. My wife uses it mostly indoors and for video...

The camera was set to full auto with this sequence and all hand held. This is straight out of the camera so no editing. The first image is 28mm, 1/125, f4.0, ISO 80. The next two images are at 560mm, 1/200, f5.7, ISO 200. Note: the last image includes the digitally enhanced zoom feature, beyond the 560mm lens. Enjoy...

Ralph

Hey Randy,

Well, it's enough to make you pause that's for sure.;)

We just need something with a little better ISO performance for dim indoor shots/video as my wife uses it. I haven't gotten any direct input yet, but from everything I've read the SX-50 should perform better in that regards?

Take care,
Ralph
