New G15 Filter Issue

I just received my new G15 yesterday...and love it BTW!

But, I want to run a UV and polarizer filter and purchased the Canon LA-DC58L adapter to run with my 58mm Crystal-Optics filters. Problem is at 24mm position they both clip the corners of the frame and it shows on pics.

Is this because of the Canon adapter or possibly the brand filters I have? Don't remember running into this with the G2 I ran them on prior.

Any help on compatible filters that don't run into this issue appreciated.

Look at the recommendation on the Lensmate site;

Thank you for the link Dennis.
Reading their description....

Unlike the Canon tele adapter which is only designed for tele add-ons, the KIWIFOTOS has been made slightly shorter so it allows you to use any standard 58mm filter with no vignetting

So the stock Canon adapter I bought works properly only for the Tele lens?? Sounds like possibly I was just ripped off of $37.00. If this is true then why would Canon not engineer the adapter to work 100% with filters also and make it a bit shorter??

If you read the accessories list at the Canon site, you will see the adaptor you purchased is designed for "attaching ...Tele-Converter TC-DC58E, the Macro Ring Lite MR-14EX or Macro Twin Lite MT-24EX." It lists a separate "Filter Adapter FA-DC58D. This adapter is required for the 58mm lens filter on the PowerShot G15." This is their adapter that zooms with the lens, and does not vignette, but it costs nearly $50. I have a similar one for my G11.
