The 'empty' factor of this shot really is dated. At the time of capture, it was in fact deserted, and very run down. Thankfully my photo has become more of a moment in history rather than a current event.
Today this school is active, fully staffed and equipped and provides education to dozens of local kids.
This is a vertical stitch of 2, 3-shot HDRs from my 5D mkII and 17-40 f4L. Editing done via photoshop, Nik HDR, and Nik Silver Efx.
