Wanted to know if someone in or familiar with co springs area could tell me some backwood places for good landscape. I have The Garden already and will be hitting the 7 falls this weekend, but I am looking for directions from colorado springs within an hour or so. Any feedback greatly appreciated.

Ben

What exactly do you want to know? Just the direction from I-25 to the Seven Falls, or any suggestions regarding good landscape opportunity areas?

As for suggesting where else to go within Colorado Springs area, I'd recommend the Red Rock Canyon, which is an extension of the Garden of the Gods. I recently took the following photos just to give you some idea as to what you can expect to see from there:

Tin Cup is a "ghost" town not too far west of there, and if you have a 4x4, you can leave Tin Cup and go to Alpine Tunnel, which is GREAT. Tin Cup can be reached by normal vehicle, but (at the time I was there) Alpine Tunnel was 4x4 only trails.
