Thanks every one,warlord all my shots are taken in the natural ground they are found in so I don't like to cut out and put in a plain background ,as dof I do not photo stack one shot with as high a aperture as possible so in this case dof is at its max so I consentrate on the eye,s ,I am only using a canon100 f2.8 macro lens as we all know the closer you get the smaller dof is ,have a nice day every one the bugs are out today

The top one is a Ringlet, not a Speckled wood. They do like to hide in the vegetation rather than flaunting themselves like other browns.
