I am going to shoot more trucks. The other day I had a shot with fluro orange and noticed how much drama is was to get it to the correct saturation. I think I read something about Canon and orange rendition. Anyway, I took shots of the red truck to see what a good red would process as. And thats when I took that detail shot of the front.

Your train shots were pretty good, too.

In the morning I'm going here - http://www.pbase.com …r/image/48098550/original (external link)

to try the WA I got recently. I go there for a delivery once or twice a month, and I hope the sunrise off the Pacific is a good'un. Thats the plan. Its a real lottery. Maybe I'll get lucky. (A good sunrise, I mean).

The Aussie Bride has heard of Laurieton but not Dunbogen

but we both agree it looks like a relaxing place.

Good luck on getting lucky. I see the Kiwis are getting great sunsets as a result of the VIC bushfires.

Well, the beach was rained out...

but I did get some good truck pix on the hwy at one of the old and dangerous bridges which for far too long have been an embarrassment to the government. This one is about to get bypassed so this shoot was for nostalgia too.

Aussie semi-trailers (standard) are 45ft long. Then there are the "B-Doubles"...
( an aussie trailer manufacturer site with details is --- http://www.freightermaxicube.com.au/product.htm (external link) )
All pics are 1300pixels wide and full of details.
Here is the pbase gallery:

Yeah, yesterdays weather was shyte - It doesn't look much better this morning down here, either although it is supposed to clear.

Good shots in spite of the weather, though. Were you able to get any of the bridge?

We have a new freeway being built outside our back yard. Lotsa of interesting trucks and earth moving equipment. I will have to get out there and take a few photos.
