I have an old Luxon flash gun that works fine. The problem I have is the battery size. It takes 4 AA batteries. However it's a mega squeeze to get the battery hatch Back on and an even bigger one getting it off. You need to push the batteries down to get it to go on, and a screwdriver to get a gap of an 5mm and then push the batteries down and push it off. Withou batteries it glides off. It looks like an 80's or possibly late 70's unit. I tried both Duracell and ASDA brand rechars in it with the same problem. My guess is that 80's AA's were slightly shorter. Can anyone confirm this or offer a solution?
