I have printed quite a few of my bird shots in 8" X 10". They look so nice in the portfollio  How do you hang your bird shots? I was thinking of painting a tree on a wall (most likely bedroom) and cutting the birds out of the prints to perch them on a branch with the painting :p Probably sounds kind of cheesy, but I would to get the prints out of the portfollio and into plain site  Perhaps put them on the wall next to the family portraits?

PS <> The painting of the tree is not going to happen at this time since we are looking to sell the house in the near future. But, it's definitely a possibility in the next one!!

IMO, this is going to come off like it was done by a kindergarten class. LOL We've got a bunch of, mostly 11x14", document frames scattered around the house. A couple are on easels and some are hanging. They are a modest black frame with two pieces of thin glass intended to display diplomas, etc. But they are very adaptable to un-matted prints and we can change the images as often as we want to provide variety. Good luck with whatever you decide on.

Usually just do canvas wraps. But have been thinking about getting a few printed on wood blocks.

Going this route, too,(canvas wraps) for some inexpensive wall art in a vacation home we're building. Walmart will do an 11 X 14 for around $22.00 here. Haven't hung any yet but thinking of drilling small holes in underside of top wood member and using "L" hooks. Just have to remember to allow for the wrap when cropping. Costco also offers this service at a slightly higher price. Also, walmart rep told me they will print to your desired size and you can review w/o obligation-kinda nice.

Forget about painting, use some real branches!

I was thinking about getting a large 15" digital picture frame and putting the best in a slide show. You could also print your best to a large format coffee table book.

I would paint the tree on the wall, but frame and mat the prints and "hang" them on the branches. If you have visitors, they'd be ready to sell too.

I print some of my stuff 11x14 and put them in inexpensive black frames. No matting.
It keeps the size down.
I like them but they would look "nicer" with a matting I bet.
