There's a new sheriff in town! This male Costas has resisted being chased away by the current female "king of the hill" and appears to be making himself at home. (I think he's molting rather than carrying 'battle scars'.)

Hopefully, I'll be able to add another shot or two as I go through the images I took this morning.

Thanks everyone very much. The light was constantly changing with cloudy skies this morning so that was a bit of a challenge.

Here's the last one and it's a bit darker than the others but I still like the colors. I could brighten it up but I'm not sure I want to.

Very nice detail in all of them, but that first one is spectacular. You got the light just right to bring out all of the color. It's amazing it can change.
