$20 for parking would be the only expense. :)

Ready really early?
First race is 9:25, but was thinking of leaving around 8am, to get there by 9 with some traffic in the area.

Sure, send me a txt when you're leaving home & I'll drag myself out of bed. Actually Fiona's working so I'll be up anyway.

Got some of my Easter shots up ( https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=161513 ).
Landscapes and mostly taken from the car with the mighty Nifty.

I spotted some dodgy looking characters at the V8s today....they were up to no good I'm sure....

Sorry about the quality of the image....i was looking into the sun (honest!)

I'll do a post of some of my car images when i have had a chance to sort and PP them. I was pretty happy with the performance of my Sigma 70-200 + 1.4TC combo. I seem to have got a resonable % of in focus shots considering it was my first go a motorsport.

Ok, this is my first post here and I have to be upset. :( :p :p I would have been the photographer standing next to Kirst. But I am not sure that I would have been doing the same thing, still not 100% sure what a camera is. :)

If you didn't have anyone standing next to her then that would have been because I ran out of storage room. I would have thought that 3gb would have been enough, but it looks like I was wrong. Today I did set my highest number of shots in one day, 1565.

I would have been the photographer standing next to Kirst.

That pic was a crop of this one....which one is you?

in that case then I am not standing next to kirst, I am the one with the sunnys on. The person standing between kirst and myself is my brother. My camera had ran out of room by that stage. I did notice however that Kirst had a big smyle on her face, which I am sure is because she is using wazza's lens.

You guys didn't use the "photographer with big lens comming through, get out of the way!" trick?

I am not to sure that would have worked, today I had someone who keeped getting in the way, (aka my brother) and yesterday I had some kid that decied it's a good idea for his flag in the direction I was pointing. :( gee don't people know how important we are :)

I seem to have the same problem when driving on the road :)
