A note on LCD monitors, make sure they do 16.7 million colours and not 16.2 million. The difference isn't great but the enough to matter. As a photograher it does pay to see all the colours needed. Keep an eye out for that.

As for the 16ms responce time. they are normaly gray to gray. Even on a monitor that has a fast responce time the ture number is alot higher. I used to play FPS on a 16ms monitor and didn't see a problem.

Tony,

Good decision -- we wouldn't want to worry about you being lost... or at worse, hurt. There are pictures that are worth the tramp... but there are pictures not worth getting hurt for -- rain and mud make a path dangerous especially when near a cliff or a steep incline. A broken camera can be fixed... a broken back maybe not ;-)a

Any pics?

Mark -- thanks for the input. I will keep this in mind for future reference.

Attended a couple of Anzac day services today. I forgot how moving the services could be. The last post will always send a shiver down my spine since it was played at my grandads funeral.

next year I even intend to make the dawn parade at the cenotaph.

Hey Tony!
I vote we hunt him down and share the 70-200.

No wait.
I have no idea where he lives.
You'll have to do it alone.
You can have the lens and I'll take the 20D.
Deal?

:D

The good thing about the Canon 70-200 F4 is the lack of weight.
