I vote we hunt him down and share the 70-200.

No wait.
I have no idea where he lives.
You'll have to do it alone.
You can have the lens and I'll take the 20D.
Deal?

:D

Then he will get something better we both want.

I find it better to ask, anyway why is it that I get to do all the work and you get to reap the reward.

Sounds like my wife. "How come I get to do night shift work and you get to buy stuff for your camera....... and when are you going to finish the house"....yes dear so that was a yes to the 70-200 F2.8 :)

Hmmm.....

If it was for EOS and not Nikon it would be quite good.

oh allright ill post already! hah.

I've just been pretty busy etc and havn't been bothered posting much at all!

Easter weekend was very interesting, I didnt make the 21 pano sales target! hah, far from it. I sold one, but not the big one, a smaller, $100 one.

Everybody was great. They were all amazed at the photos and wanted to look at them heaps. We spent ages going around every house, and lots of them invited us in for coffee etc etc. A few people tried it on (hung on their wall somewhere to look at).

We were stopped in the street because people had heard about us ('oh are you the guys with the photo!')

Gave away probably about 180 bussiness cards - so who knows, perhaps I'll get something from that one day.

We met a great NZ businessman / photographer Kevin Male. He's had about 10 photography books publish from his travels around NZ and the world. He was really interested and made a concerted effort to find somewhere in his place to hang it, but couldnt find anywhere. He gave me a list of people who may be interested, which was great. He was great and in the end gave me a signed copy of one of his unpublished books :D

So all in all it was a great weekend, I made enough money to cover my gas, and learnt alot - I declared the weekend a success, because of the people I met.

In other news, I was working over the weekend so missed the V8's! first time i've missed them in about 4 years. Looked like a fantstic weekend with some spectacular crashes.

Today, I spent at the snow :D You all know I love the snow more than my mother, so this means im now in a pretty good mood. For those of you who dont know, i shelled out $4,000 for a lifetime pass to Mt Ruapehu.
However, today I was at the countrys only indoor skifield, SnowPlanet. I had to shell out more money to get in there, tho at least I didnt have to pay for rental gear (i have my own). So, $60 worth of snowplanet entry, and $120 worth of new gloves (needed them anyway) I was away smiling :) Snow im just looking at plonking down another 6 or $700 on a second set of ski's for this winter :)

I'll never be able to afford those new lenses at this rate!

Some great shots there Kirst ;)

Simon: Tell Nakita I have plenty shots of the HPM Porsche GT3, such as this one:

That's 50% size, most the panning shots I have are sharp as, it's the more interesting front three quarters, that aren't so great.

Right one?

I had a feeling you had it. Thanks. No rush to get it. Feel free to use it if you have several cards to protect. ;)
