Want someone to come along with you Tony? :)

Yep. You can give me a few leasons. What time and do you want me to pick you up. I want to be out there for a while.
We can talk about photography rather than who has the best glass :)

Sounds fascinating :p

How about drive your car here, then drive my car out there. That way we're fairly even in gas usage.

Unless you really want to drive. I'm free from maybe 2/3pm. Is that too late? Or a time.

Going out for Kirst for lunch.
Weather is a bit miserable, but how else did you get those photos last night ;)

Hello everyone, been a week or so since I last posted.

Happy Birthday Kirst! (weehee - hooping and hollering and all that jazz)

Spent my weekend just out of Thames, was hoping to get a few good shots of mine shafts etc - but couldn't really get what I wanted due to weather etc. Here's a couple I did manage to get.

And my favourite from the weekend......

http://www.neutraldensity.co.nz/images/final/570_800.jpg (external link)

It's been oversharpened due to my web upload routine (I must get around to turning off the sharpener at some stage). I was very pleased with the colours etc. The cat (named Alley) was a real laugh, she follows her owners when they go for a walk on the beach - just like a dog would. She's always a great conversation point for those who haven't seen her out on the beach for a stroll before. No flash used in the shot. I may repost it on my website without the destructive sharpening at some stage. The original is nice and sharp.

Having been away from this thread for a little while haven't got time to say "Wow" to all the images that have been posted from recent days - so here's a collective "Wow" for you all. Wow!

Cliff

The impossible has begun - another step closer - and I am very hungry for it.
