Cliff, I like the picture of the cat albeit over sharpened :). The shallow DOF works well on that image...

Poping into Auckland Camera this afternoon. Any one need anything.
Off to Murawhai for a look around and sunset.
Its the last beach on my list.

Im going to go further a feild now. Done the westcoast. Which Google Earth would update the Auckland Coastline and ranges a bit more.

oh your shout is it? how kind, now that you mention it, there are a few dozen things you could pick up for me LOL

done the west coast? im not sure thats something you can ever really say about any location, is it? oh and by the way have you done bethells' inland sand dune and lake? havent seen it in any of your posted shots

Tony, not your best work IMHO.

The pano suffers from not enough space at the top, and too much at the bottom. It looks unbalanced.

The pylon, just makes me wonder "so....." If it were me I would have gone off centre or something a bit more interesting.

The long white cloud one is good, I like it.

Of couse my normal disclaimer applies...

"But then again, what do I know?"

Maybe I should put that in my sig??

It's not late, it's still my spethial day ;)

Thanks Mr Momentz :)
And thank you to everyone else that sent me birthday wishes.
I'm just getting ready for dinner - having a girly moment or wondering what to wear, hehe.

More great shots shared by folks, always good to see :D

Why do all girls (Women) have those moments?
And if they would stay as moments rather than 1/2 hours or so , and would occur at least 1 hour before you are due to leave the house I would be much happier!!

Because that's almost never me ;) I generally take the length of time a dude does, to get ready for anything

Hello everyone, been a week or so since I last posted.

Happy Birthday Kirst! (weehee - hooping and hollering and all that jazz)

Spent my weekend just out of Thames, was hoping to get a few good shots of mine shafts etc - but couldn't really get what I wanted due to weather etc. Here's a couple I did manage to get.

Cliff

Nice pic Cliff

Kirst -- a happy birthday to you! All the best for the coming year!

John;)
