It's interesting. Though I'm not a big fan of all these filters.
What do you do with a photo like that with the filter effect? Would you hang it on the wall?

Charcoal effect then a layer mask with a gradient for the bike.
Not on the wall but as wallpaper on the computer yes.

looks a lot like a find edges gradient mask i did once to a photo of some flowers.

on another note, heres one of my own black sand spinifex photos

Expensive? Shucks, nothing like it. There's now talk of the 400mm 2.8.. 300 is a bit short on a full frame. Plus a 1DS II and a 1D III.
I'm in for a 24-105, 1D III, Sigma 300-800mm...
