Minus petrol for travelling different corners of the North Island, $1000. Minus accommodation. Minus tax. After all this, you're left with some pocket money.

But yeah, it's NZ. What can we expect. Most photographers are underpaid.
Need regular gigs, and lucky breaks every couple of weeks to survive.

Wow, even the queen street shops are selling the 30D body only for $1699 now! Photo & Video have put their price back up to $1979.

Expect prices to get a little better -- the Kiwi hit an all time high of 0.7543 to the US$. Me thinks it is the best time to purchase stuff from overseas...

I shot those pics as a hobby.

Ended up selling them for 500 pounds, which arrived into my bank account as $1303.

I was going to post in that thread but I might get blasted for it. Yachting is like Goldielocks and the three bears. No wind and they don't race. Too much wind and they don't race. The wind has to be juuuuust right.

Maybe I shouldn't comment but I just don't like it. (I know loads do). There's more people on that boat than in an American football team. What was that woman in red doing standing at the back of the TNZ boat? I thought it was Dean Barkers mother watching him at work.
