Ok, first couplw of pictures from Italy.
This is Torbole, right at the north of Lake Garda. A sailing, climbing, walking and mountain biking mecca.

Nice ones Peter -- I love the colours!

OK, Here's a couple more. I Obviously can't compete with Tony for landscapes, so I will try beach babes ;)
I met this girl on the beach, and asked if she was interested in a photoshoot. Here are a couple I like.

Beach babes??? Oh yeah, it is summer in the Northern Hemisphere! Nice ones Peter

Duncan and I looked at that for 1 of his 20D's
Get areal IR camera that you use normally, no filters and long exposures. Some "L" glass produes hot spots other wise.

I'm off to Legoland today with the boys. End of holiday treat. Being a holiday & good weather there will probably be lines for everything. Yippee! It would be something for Manipula. The English like standing in lines.

I'll add Mud, mud, Getting dirty, mud, Biking.
Mine do too, though my oldest loves his bike (& the telle) often more than an excursion. It's his birthday on Wednesday so I have been looking for a mountain bike for him. Ouch!! To get a good one you need to fork out a LOT!
They HATE malls & shopping unless it is a toy shop.

I really can't see what is so cool about IR photography. I'm not a big fan of PS filters & stuff & IMHO IR photography just creates a picture that looks like it has been filtered to bits.
Unless of course you are using it to see through clothes so it makes everyone look naked. Then it would be interesting :lol:

With regards to the landscapes having foreground objects, that is also something I have been trying to work on too. It does add depth to the image.
Here are 2 I took the other day where I was trying exactly that. I know the horizon goes through the middle. Which one do you like more? or are both crap?

Those landscapes are impressive, you could only make them better by avoiding the middle of the day (yeah I know that was unavoidable here)

Ok, I was processing SI photos, honestly I was.
Then the bike showed up :D

Now I know how unfit I am, and realised just how long its been since I rode a bike.

So long and thanks for all the flash

I think I got a bloody good deal! (I actualy gave your mother a round $35).

Dad had a tyre pump in the van, so we pumped the tyres up and Iv been re-learning how to ride again.
Had to make a few adjustments to it as well, it wouldn't go into low ratio, but just needed some fiddling with the derailer.
Im going to replace the back tyre, its to chunky and hits the side of the derailer when in low.
Also had to adjust the rear brakes, and of course the seat and handle bars.
Others its in great condition!

So long and thanks for all the flash

Speaking of bikes, Here are a couple of shots of my boys.
On the second one I was experimenting with Longer shutter speed, a little under exposed, but with flash to bring the rider into the foreground & blur the background. I like this one as you see the face. I have better ones composition wise, but the face is hidden by an arm or something.
