I had a samsung 17" lcd before this one and the improvement is 100x better. I get a 1920x1200 screen size. It's also a 8bit screen, which means that it's displaying more true colours than a 6bit screen.

a 6bit screen is 16.2 million colours and a 8bit is 16.7million colours. now you may wonder what the difference is between the to. Well what's the difference you ask. 24-bit or true color is comprised of three colours each with 8-bits of colour. as a photographer you really wont to be working in true colour.

check this out for more info

well it's official. the vw is "beyond economic repair" ( to turn this into a photo discussion again see: https://photography-on-the.net …p=3322290&postcount=24380 )
had a quick look at replacements today. has anyone anything usefull to say about either VW Golf / Audi A3 / Opel Astras? (say 1999-2002 5 door hatches given their pricerange) good/bad/indifferent?

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

sorry, things change and the handbook changes with it. You need the book called the "the next next next generation, and understanding how to live in the new century" book

that's the book for everyone who remembers a time with out the Internet. :)
