Where did you get the tracing paper, Just a paper Plus place?
Wonder if there is a way my 580ex can trigger my studio lights.
I just tryed a light in front, kind of gets in the way of shooting.

Oh well something to do on winter nights

Got some big A0 sheets of paper from Whitcouls in Pakuranga, any good stationers should have it.

The box itself is quite long, Iv posted photos of it before in this thread:

IMAGE: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v31/Moppie/lighttent2.jpg

Your 580 will trigger the studio lights if you fire in manual mode, and have the lights on optical triggers, its not hard to do.
But you would be better of learning first with one light source, and how it works in the tent, then add a second, then a third etc.

So long and thanks for all the flash

May need to cut the sides down a bit more.
Maybe a flash from in front maybe worth a try as well

maybe a flash from the flash might be worth a try...

The last one is Duncans 20D

looks far too tidy - must have been a lot of PS work..

and may I just say thanks to all the folks who replied to the car question - didn't realise I'd set off such discussion, but do appreciate hearing peoples views.

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Well Ive given up waiting on the SI photos from Moppie

I'm beginning to think it's a big conspiracy. Let's face, do we have actual proof he went round the SI? Perhaps he was having a holiday at her majesties pleasure and had to cover it up somehow without being able to pull a 'Hilton'.

It works if the 580 is in Manual mode.

So glass table was the "floor" light underneth. I can build that. May need to look at how I would hold the studio light though. May need to make a holder.

The objects where on paper or nylon. with the light shining through the paper.

you know I find it strange that moppie can post a picture of a cardboard box and yet out of all the photos he had taken during the SI trip he can't post one single photo. it doesn't even have to be processed.

it makes me wonder if he is using film :)
