Hmmm - rails - reminds me of a picture I saw today - Tony, you may like this one...

I bought a book from Amazon about portrait photography and lighting and it arrived today. In the opening pages, it mentioned the author has a website so I went and looked.

Her opening picture (external link) blew me away - I just love it. Unfortunately, I don't think the others in her site quite measure up to it.

Why do people think that about forums?
This place is Peka's and we have to play by his rules.

not to sure why people think that? may be a lack of understanding of TOC?

yes, this place may be viewable to the public, however it is owned by Pekka. so this place isn't public at all.

I will but brave this cold weather for the betterment of the human race as a whole. All the world's races and creeds will be better off for seeing my afformentioned astounding handrail shots, the Iraq 'war' will end, Terrorism will cease to exist, all land claims will be settled fairly. But best of all - repeats of all the best 80s TV shows will be on telly.

Handrails for US president. Couldn't do a worse job could it?

Hi All, Back from the Photo workshop in Münster.
Fantastic weekend. I was staying with my mate Gary Kapluggen from New Zealand along with about 20 other photographers and models. A lotr of partying and not much sleep.
Last night I drove the 700 km back in 5 1/2 hours! I love German Autobahns

There where 40 people from about 25 different countries there.
Learnt some greaat new stuff & took many great pictures.
Haven't sorted or processed any yet.

Happy 40th to me

Guess what I got for a present...............

A brand spanking new soft BLUE ROBE
(old one was wearing thin)

Photos latter ;)

Hell I would have been schocked if it was fine. The last 1 I rember was my 9th B/D

Congrats on the Birthday Tony.

I'd probably get slapped for making her look 20 again. Nice edit though.

That's one thing I never do with my images - photoshop/layers/soften.
Pretty much no edits these days, apart from USM once resized. Learnt a lot from wedding photography - shoot not to crop, shoot with horizons dead level - saves so much time. :)

He he. I take quite a lot of glamour photography, and it is expected there.
I agree with what you say. The more you can get right in the camera, the less work you have afterwards.

They were a good distance away. She was on a rock doing yoga. He had come out of the water after a swim. I dont think he was worryed about showing much except for a couple of frozen peas

Frozen peas.. ROFLMAO!
Part of the workshop was Nude... I didn't loose my concentration at all.

im trying to decide whether i want my $40 or my sleep tonight
ive got til 11pm to make up my mind: thats when the after hours chemist closes

Whilst waiting for 11pm to come around try passing your $40 over whatever ails you... if you feel better then you don't need to buy the meds:p

No quite serious. I have done those IQ tests just make average. I have no qualifications to my name.
So call me a dumb ass I dont care.

Geez Tony -- stop belittling yourself. In my book, it doesn't matter if one is educated or not... as long as the person is a good one and true to him/herself. I know of some people who have zilch degrees yet have done very well for themselves... others with all the laurels, walls full of diplomas yet are not happy.
