i just spent the last 30 mins cleaning mud off all my camera bags and changing clothes...

Well a new 500/600 aint going to happen. Even I cant justify that cost. Secondhand brought in from overseas is the only way.

Something full frame, not a 5d. Something weather resistant, not a 1dmk2.

Take extra batteries... the cold will drain them quicker than normal.

Lens fog is annoying. Shooting with gloves on will be hard, and shooting with numb fingers also probably isn't easy.

If you can get over that stuff, sounds like an awesome time!
