So long as it covers everything, we're good.

it covers most things.

umm so what we talking about again ?

I'm going to give the simga 100-300 a good try out again tomorrow. really haven't used it for anything. I used it once for the superv8's last year and then found it had problems with the 10D, never really used it till now, just think 2k just sitting around not doing anything

IQ is all about the glass. I really enjoy the pictures I take with the 24-70 but hate the pics with bigma. The just aren't sharp. I took about 30 pics of th moon the other night and would be more than embarressed to post on here. The pic of the Kia was taken with bigma on the 10D. Maybe it's me, maybe it's the lens, maybe it's the need for retail therapy. One day I would like to go FF and bigma would be next to useless on it.

No the dents don't help.

Indeed 70-200 but maybe not the IS. Some investments mature next year (assuming the companies don't go under) so I may have to increase my lens collection.

got out with the camera again today

for the bee shots I have to apologize about the flash look, I was out taking some photos and a bee came along and asked if it could model for me. So since they have a short life span it's better to capture the bee now before it could fly off.

Mark, very nice shots! One comment though with the first one... the broken leaf is very distracting... without it the pic would have been fantastic.

(thanks to Mike for taking the shot for me, he's at least a foot taller than I am so could see over the fence...)

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

I bet that if that was an ordinary car the passenger compartment wouldn't look too intact... amazing what rollbars/cages can do to save a driver's life...
