So Glen? The 40d, or the iPod touch? :D

Both ;-)a I'l pick up the 40D next week if all goes to plan, and the iPod Touch not soon after. I could buy them both right now, but I need to let my gut sink in a little ;-)a Out for dinner now anyway, should be a nice break to have an evening without thinking of the 40D ;-)a

I think I would rather get a cellphone with mp3 play back myself. for the amount of times I would listen to it.

it's better than the 30D, 20D, 10D, 300D, 350D and the 400D.

it's perhaps the best Canon 1.6x crop factor camera out today

Ive never seen so many people buy a camera like they have done with the 40D and so soon. 4 people so far. Just got me curious.

One the first GKPE we had 8 people, 6 has 20D's the remaining two were a Powershot and a 350D, perhaps the 40D is the new 20D?

its such a huge jump from the 30d that we can now get that pro feel from an affordable unit.

also remember that most of the people who have purchased one are jumping from 20ds or below.
