tried using * but I am forgetfull so stopped, was missing to many shots due to lack of focus. But thats just me bing a lazy sod

I forgot I turned it on once, it took me hours to work out why my camera wouldn't focus! I'd just picked it up and ran outside to shoot a nearby fire. I kicked myself when I worked it out!

Hey, guys, i'm considering a bit of a holiday in Auckland before I start work again - just got an IT contract starting 1st August to tide me over until the next wedding season. Is anything going on 22-23rd or 28-29th? I'll probably find cheaper accomodation this time (ie less than 5 star!) but will probably rent a car still.

I'm sure the Aucklanders can make something happen. ;)

My camera model has a 'd' in it, but at the wrong end.

Hi all,

Another Aucklander here (well, actually Wellingtonian, but we won't get into that...)

Just wanted to say that I'm really impressed with the quality of photos in this thread, and I'm looking forward to learning enough to feel comfortable posting my own ones!

Just typical. more aucklanders. :p

welcome to the forum, this is a great place to learn how to use your camera and take photos.

At this stage it looks like a bus thing would have to be done. I wasn't planning on coming along to the next GKPE. I don't normaly say alot around people I don't know. You know it's the old story, about someone looks fine untill they open their mouth :)
