That was I lens I thought about alot back when I craved a long lens above all else. Now I have realised that I don't need more than 280mm 99.9% of the time. But when I win big wednesday I will make sure there is a 400 f2.8 stowed in the range rover.

weka2000 Is that a 300mm in your pocket? More info | I cant see the point of getting a tele prime for my needs. I struggled getting the 50mm and 85mm but I could justify for portrait work and Im glad I did buy both.
