Good on you wazza, must be great to see your work published.
Mind you after 100,000 photos with your 20D you would expect to have a couple of good ones :p

Im up to about 15,000 between my 20D and 5D.

Yeah thanks Moppie , Tim and Scott.

I asked what sort of run it had, 7500 prints, and is distrubuted amongst auto garages, and club teams. It was paid too. :)

Edit: Didn't see your post Tony, on page 256!

Thanks. also. :) - I wonder how many shots it has been.

Yeah congrats, having work published is cool, being paid is even better (I assume as it has never happened to me  ).

Good thing the 20D doesn't have a shutter actuation limit (one reason for Wazza not to upgrade to a 5D or 30D ;) (

Been thinking....I think its that time again to as the question of whats missing from my photos. I want to move up another notch as Im still not feeling Im getting that "WOW" out of my work.

So is it possible for those who want to look at my last 3 posts and tell me what you think needs work.

https://photography-on-the.net …hread.php?t=190475&page=3
https://photography-on-the.net …hread.php?t=190825&page=4
https://photography-on-the.net …hread.php?t=191609&page=3

I want you to be honest. What are the photos missing. Try to explain in detail whats missing or what wrong with them.

Im wanting to up my game and im not willing to settle for the old "thats nice" comments.

This is the sort of quality im after

Yes, I do. I wouldn't be without it. Great for getting to see the viewfinder when the camera is out-of-reach for normal viewing, such as hanging upsidedown a cm from the ground, or overhead literally, or just getting a good straight view. Its 2.5x magnification is essential for macro focussing. Its 360degree rotation allows candid shots to the side or almost behind.

It's almost like having a fully-rotatable live-view lcd monitor.

Yes, the price is ridiculous.

Thanks, you almost sold it to me

I got mine along with a grid focusing screen for B&H $400 NZ for both.

Order it on friday night and arrive monday afternoon.

I got the angle C for several reasons, one of which was for getting into macro and manual focus. The other advatage is when I was doing waterfalls I would be in the water but I couldnt see the view finder at least with the angle finder I could look down and see.

I just priced it from B&H, plus converting it in to NZ$ and it comes to a grand total of $334.16
