I don't see it as a problem unless you are a pro and you might get lose money on the photograph.

I didn't really realise how much light the city throws up. That orange glow is a town of only 50K people.!! Then I thought the aliens were landing.
but phew, it was only the local drivingrange.

Problem is that our eyes adjust to the light within our periphery. Long exposures tend to "suck up" all the available light... John

I received a new set of Honma clubs and my "old" set is surplus to my needs. John, it all depends on brand and what clubs comprise the set - woods, irons putter? I'm a golfer (loose definition, I must say, after my game today!) and know that prices can vary widely depending on the brand. New sets are regularly on special and that can affect the price of used sets. Phone JKs Driving range at the airport and check out prices for used 'sets'. Oh,and check Trademe! _______________

Not sure if it is cheap enough to tempt me.....I have asked some questions. Assuming that the balance of warranty is transferrable, and that the filter is decent then it looks like a good buy. Have a look at his feedback -- if there aren't any negatives in the last year then go for it. John

Will check out TM. Brand-wise it is Pro-Tactic which had very good reviews when I bought the set a few years ago. The new ones I have are Honmas... This should be a good starter set I think. John

Somewhere the 1D should have excelled. I found the glass let the camera down badly. I had it on A1 servo and just at the crucial moments the lens went hunting (Canon 75-300). Don't know whether that is due to operator though. Ended up with very blurry results. Only the Sigma (15-30) and the Canon (35-135) coped but they are a lot newer. Didn't take bigma as you can practically touch the riders. Anyway got the next lens on the christmas list (70-200 2.8L). Missus doesn't know she's buying it for me yet. Oh God, I'm getting POTN disease....my wish list is...
