The Shed is the focus not the pole.

Maybe, but my eye is drawn to it, and so it becomes the focus.

With the power pole im am trying to say end of life the power stops.

Again, that makes the pole the focus.

Don't take what I say too hard, I am just an armchair critic. You are the one out every night, putting in the effort. Good on you! If you reject what I say, that is fine, I won't be offended. I'm just trying to make you think of different posibilities.

And that why when I become famous I will give you some credit

Poles a bit big to clone out, need to get a chain saw one night. I forget that I have a 12meg file to work with. Croping a FF photo seems like a crime to me.

I did the stats of focal length with the 24-70, seems the 24 and 35mm range was used a lot.....hey Canon make those as "L" primes

Sandra's come up with brillant idea that we get a camper van and go around the South Island...shes planning already. When I find the people who poped that thought into her head, Im going to take ALL their "L" glass off them to help pay for it...............

16-35, 24-70, 100-400 should cover the cost ;)

Thanks everyone for the "congrats" in regards to the photos in Speedsport, and thanks also to Tracy for sharing them. :)

Lucky to have a great girlfriend, and some nice friends :)

Just catching up with the 'news' - Well done Wazza. Seeing your work in print is well overdue in my opinion!

i would've cropped like this, i have changed the perspective on this image because i would've walked into about where it now looks and taken the image. its still not perfect and i think it wouldn't be very easy to get it perfect but this is around where i would shoot it from.

sorry if this goes beyond the terms of critique, but i don't think you can get it fully perfect as it is. thats not to say that it's not a nice shot though, just need a chainsaw!
